Andalou Naturals Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk Review

Andalou Naturals is such an affordable natural, GMO free brand. Their products are pretty much sold in every health food store and online, making it readily available and convenient. It's really a no brainer when it comes to deciding whether or not to try out their products. I've recently reviewed their Illuminating Toner, which is bomb, and figured their cleansing milk would be just as great.

Description: For Dry & Sensitive Skin. Fruit Stem Cell Complex and probiotic microflora calm irritation and stimulate cell turnover for improved dermal immunity. Nourishing aloe vera, apricot and borage oils gently loosen and remove make-up and impurities, while restoring intracellular moisture and a healthy glow. For clean, nourished skin and a restored complexion.

I wish you guys could take a big whiff of this stuff, *inhales deeply*, ahhh-mazing. Smells like fresh apricots and there are definitely times when I'm tempted to lick it off of my face..or hands..whichever. The texture is more of a cream than a milk, however, it does thin out when mixed with water. I don't mind either texture to be honest. I use about one or two pumps, massage it on my damp skin, and rinse. It leaves my face feeling soft and smelling delicious. Ready for the negative? Doesn't remove makeup all that well, or at all really. I found their Lemon Meyer Creamy Cleanser to remove makeup much better. Whether I'm wearing a full face or just mascara and brows, I need to do a double cleanse and sometimes triple (when wearing heavy makeup). That being said, most people will remove their makeup first. Since that's what I normally do anyway, this works great as a second cleanse, in the AM and on days when I don't wear any makeup at all. It hasn't broken me out or irritated my skin, which is the most important thing, but it also hasn't improved my skin in any way. For the price, I think it's definitely worth trying. If you're looking for a makeup remover + cleanser in one, this is not the product for you. Would I repurchase? Yes, definitely.

Retails for approx. $13 CAN. Check out Andalou Naturals for more info.

  1. I don't think we get this brand in the UK, or if we do I haven't seen it around! It's disappointing when a cleanser just doesn't seem to cleanse, but the scent sounds lovely :) x

    1. Oh no, that's a shame! I'm sure somewhere carries it, perhaps online is your best bet. It is very disappointing, especially when it's a cream/milk cleanser. xo

    1. You should give their skin care a try, might surprise you. Oddly enough, I haven't been crazy about their hair care though. My hair is straight and flat though :P xo
