Faves Friday!

Hello Friday and lovelies! Bet you're surprised that this is actually up on a Friday instead of the usual Saturday or Sunday. Be proud of me! I have a bunch of new things, and a couple old, that I have been loving over the past couple of weeks.

Deep Steep Body Mist in Honeydew Spearmint - I am beyond obsessed with this scent in the Deep Steep range. It's sweet and fresh and delicious. The mist doesn't last very long on the skin/clothes but, I don't mind reapplying and my clients probably appreciate that I don't smell like a fragrance counter.
Sea Salt Spray (in the silver bottle) - When I went to Jamaica, I filled up this Aura Cacia bottle with sea water. Since we were going into Winter at the time and beachy hair wasn't all the rage, I kinda just kept it in a drawer. Now that the sun is finally shining and beachy hair is back in style, I've been using it regularly to give my fine, flat hair some texture and volume.
Myra Aso 100% Marula Oil - Have I mentioned my love for marula oil yet? It works wonders for my hair. Since my hair is short and fine, I literally use one little drop and work it into my ends after drying/styling. It completely eliminates frizz and leaves my hair smooth, shiny, and glam. Never tried it? Don't worry, I got a special giveaway coming your way.
Sante Eyebrow Pencil in No. 2 Brown - When my brows are full and luscious, I use Zuzu, but when they get a little sparse, it just doesn't do the job. I knew I needed something new and after swatching several brow pencils, Sante was the clear winner. It's not a warm brown so it works great for very dark brown/black brows like mine. I freakin love it.
Living Libations Neem Enamelizer Toothpaste - I won't lie, this stuff tastes horrible and often times makes me gag a little. Why's it in your faves then Nicole? Because since I've started using it, my teeth are noticeably whiter and less sensitive.
*Lyck Lip Butter in Crushed Berries - This lip butter smells, tastes, and feels divine on my lips. It leaves my lips super soft, makes my lipstick look better and last longer, and crushes candy cravings with each lick of my lips.
Hope you all have an amazing Friday :)

  1. I have the Sante eyebrow pencil too! I bought it when I went to New York and I was actually going to take it back because I thought it would be too light but it is actually perfect! Very clever to fill up the bottle with sea salt too! I really want to try something from Living Libations but shipping costs to the UK are so much :(

    1. The texture of the pencil is great too, no? It's not too creamy or too hard. I just wished it didn't wipe off so easily or wear off during the day. If you ever decide to splurge a bit,you will likely not be disappointed with Living Libations xo

  2. Is the Deep Steep Honeydew Spearmint scent minty? I know fragrances are hard to describe but I I wouldn't mind trying it if it's not too minty. I have the body lotions in Grapefruit-Bergamont and Passionfruit Guava and love them!

  3. Hi Nicole! Is the body mist real minty? I have Deep Steep's body lotions in Grapefruit-Bergamont and Passionfruit Guava and love the smells. I would be willing to try the Honeydew scent as long as it isn't too minty. Thank you in advance for your response.

    1. hi love! Ummm..I'm not sure what you'd consider too minty. Honeydew Spearmint is not a scent I'd normally go for, but it got my attention with how sweet and fresh it is without smelling like a breath mint or candy store. Literally smells like honeydew and spearmint (which is much sweeter than peppermint or mint in my opinion). Hopefully you can smell it before purchasing :) xo

  5. Genius idea putting sea water into a bottle, how did you think of that?! And the Deep Mist spray sounds heavenly... even the name Honeydew Spearmint is like something from a fairy tale x

  6. I love the idea of beachy hair! What a cool idea- just one question: does the sea salt spray ever dry your hair out?

    1. Thanks! I haven't noticed that it has. I usually work in a drop of marula oil after spraying my hair though. It doesn't leave my hair crunchy or dry feeling on its own or anything xo

  7. Loving this faves friday! As everyone else has said, pretty great idea to bottle up some actual sea water. Everything from Living Libations looks incredible - want! Also gonna investigate this brow pencil. I think Sante are pretty underrated, so it's nice to see them here :)

    1. Thank girl! Living Libations is definitely a special brand. They're pricey but well worth the money. You can probably save the ridic shipping by having Sab grab it when she's home. Perks of being so close to a Canadian! Sante is underrated for sure, let me know if you try anything of theirs xo
