What's on my Bathroom Counter!?

Mary, from Pure Makeup, did a what's on my nighstand post not too long ago and I loved it! I'm such a curious person and love to see what people have in their shower, makeup bag, shoe, whatever, I love it all. Yes, I'm a weirdo and to some, probably creepy.  Since I only have two things on my night stand, I thought I'd do a what's on my bathroom counter post instead. Hopefully you guys like these types of posts as much as I do!

I'm not going to show you close ups of everything on my counter, aside from my mostly used products which are in that brown weaved basket/tray on the right. Not everything has a review yet because I'm still trying them out, but will soon.

General Overview. On the left I have two glass jars with cotton rounds, balls & qtips. There's also  a tray with stones & a candle, my hand soap & toothbrush cup.

These are all of the products that I use, generally, every single day in terms of skin/hair/body care. I find it more convenient to have them all here than to go into each drawer.

Honey - I was using this to cleanse my skin in the AM but because I'm doing daily facials in school, I actually don't cleanse in the morning anymore. I use this honey in my clay masks, which I do 3 times a week or so.

Pangea Egyptian Calendula & Blood Orange Cleanser - I adore this cleanser. It's so gentle yet effective at removing makeup, helping to clear up blemishes and maintaining skin hydration. I use it every night.

Pangea French Rosemary with Sweet Orange Toner - I use this to set my makeup and, on occasion, as a facial toner. It helps reduce the powdery finish of mineral foundation, is great as a makeup refresher, smells nice and keeps my skin hydrated. It's not as good as their Italian Green Mandarin with Sweet Lime toner, but still nice.

Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel Toner - I use this in the morning to cleanse and at night to remove excess cleanser, dirt and oil. I use it on my chest shoulders and back, in my clay masks, I basically use it for everything. I love that it doesn't irritate my skin and keeps it soft, yet still has astringent properties.

Dr. Alkaitis Day Cream - Not a favourite of mine but it's one I'm trying to use to write a review on. It's a little too heavy for my skin now that the weather is warmer. I apply it in the morning before my SPF.

Weleda Calendula Face Cream - Love! I use it morning and/or night on my face, hands, body, etc. I've raved about it enough.

Dr. Alkaitis Soothing Gel & Nourishing Treatment Oil - I love the oil but have mixed feelings on the gel. I apply both products (gel first) morning and night after cleansing.

Dr. Alkaitis Eye Creme - Lovely eye cream. It's moisturizing, a little goes a long way, instantly (and temporarily) plumping and has very little scent. I use it AM and PM.

Devita SPF - This is a cult favourite and for good reason. It's a light, gel-like lotion-like moisturizer with SPF that can be used with or without other facial creams/oils/lotions. I've been hanging on to the little bit that I have left.

Pure+Simple SPF 30 for Oily/Impure Skin - I'm trying this out because the Devita SPF is so expensive here in Canada. It leaves a white cast, it's hard to blend and smells very strongly of sage (yes, it lingers). I've been applying it before on my arms, chest and face every morning.

Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub - This stuff is delicious and works for removing dead skin off my lips. I use it every other day, morning and/or night, to keep my lips smooth.

DIY Deodorant (right below the lip scrub) - I haven't posted the DIY because I'm testing it out still. I apply it every morning and carry a small jar in case I need to reapply.

There's a hair tie around the deodorant which I use for when I do hair oil treatments.

Earthpaste Toothpaste - This stuff is fab! Review to come. I use it morning and night.

Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Body Oil - Cuz a gal just has to moisturize after her shower! Love this body oil because it hydrates and smells nice.

Druide Leave-In Conditioner - This is a new addition since Nature's Gate wasn't cutting it. I use this when I wash my hair and it works wonderfully. Review to come.

Alcohol (in the blue bottle) - I spray alcohol on nail tools, makeup brushes, etc. It just helps disinfect quickly.

I feel like I use wayyyy too many products on a daily basis lol. If you've done a what's in my (anything), leave me the link below! xo

    1. It doesn't seem like that much until you lay it all out or do a post lol. Earthpaste is great but do you find you use it up so quickly?
