Anyway, this post is about the shades that I have and showing you swatches prior to purchasing, which may be kind of late for most of you :P. I will say that the formulations of these blushes vary widely. Some of them are pretty hard and others are super creamy, so don't be alarmed if the consistencies are different.
L to R: Dusky Rose, Touch of Rose, Peachy Rose |
Dusky Rose is a favourite for many. It's a dark rosy red that gives the skin a natural flush of colour. I haven't played with this colour much, but feel it might be a staple come Fall/Winter.
Touch of Rose is supposed to be a subtle touch of rose, like the name suggests. It swatches brownish/pink but, goes on very sheer and adds the most beautiful glow to the cheeks. This is perhaps my favourite and most used blush because I can use it on days when I just want a glow or use it to intensify a powdered blush. I would probably rename this to Touch of Glow.
Peachy Rose is exactly as stated, a peachy blush. I hardly ever use it, I'm just not a fan of peachy/orangey shades on my skin, however, it is beautiful.
L to R: Barbie, Cotton Candy |
Cotton Candy is a gorgeous purple/pink shade that is so complimentary to my skin. I have some redness on my cheeks and find this works beautifully to counteract that. Not counteract as in conceal but, it doesn't enhance the redness and make my entire face look super flushed. Red cheeked gals, you'll understand. It doesn't go on as purple as it looks below, blends out beautifully.
I would highly recommend checking these cream blushes out, if you haven't already. My definite repurchase shades are Touch of Rose and Cotton Candy.
I love these blushes, I have dusky rose, touch of rose and barbie and I found barbie to just not look right on me but I love the other two. Cotton candy looks really nice that may be what I try next. I like darker cool tones like that.
ReplyDeleteI think many have a hard time wearing a bright pink like that, glad we're on the same page. Cotton Candy is stunning, let me know if you try it! xo
DeleteI like Barbie. It's a shame that it is not as pigmented as the others. The color is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI can totally see you rocking Barbie. The colour can be built up though, so that's a plus right? :P xo
DeleteI really like Peachy Rose and Barbie :)
ReplyDeleteThey're very pretty xo
DeleteLess than $6 for cream blush. Oh no. You had to go and do that to me...
ReplyDeletehaha I'm sorry! I had to share how fantastic they are though :P
DeleteI think I need to place an order they look great! Xx
ReplyDeleteYou'd love them! I'll keep my eyes peeled for a haul :p
DeleteDang, those are gorgeous cream blushes! I took advantage of the recent Groupon so I can't wait to get some :) My only issue with TANF is sometimes I think they cater to cool rather than warm/olive skin tones (I don't think I could rock Barbie or Cotton Candy), but I'm super excited to finally order some! Dusky Rose looks amaze!
ReplyDeleteGood on yah for getting the Groupon deal!! I wish I had done it. They have lots of gorgeous peachy shades that you could rock. Peachy rose would probably look great on you. I'm neutral/olive and much prefer cool shades on me, probably looks awful and I don't realize it lol xo
DeleteThese are lovely - the Barbie and Cotton Candy look really bright, so I'd be really interested to see how it looks on! Now, do they ship to the UK? :) Thank you for highlighting this brand xx
ReplyDeletethey easily sheer out. Since my cheeks are naturally a little red, I try not to load on blush and these are perfect because the creamy texture just blends out beautifully. I believe they ship internationally :) xo
