Description: A deep conditioning protein treatment to nourish and strengthen hair. Rich in aloe vera, calendula and chamomile to soothe tired, dry hair, hydrolysed wheat protein to fortify and sesame to deliver long lasting nourishment.
I love this stuff! I have only used it about 3 times but it's wonderful. I use a nickel sized amount, or maybe a tiny bit more, and just rub it on my ends. Whatever little excess is left, I run through the upper part of my hair (I don't massage into my roots or scalp). It hydrates so well and leaves my hair smooth and tangle free. I like that the container is small and plastic because this would be a great product to take with you when you travel, especially somewhere hot. After spending the day in the sun and pool/ocean, your hair would soak up the goodness. It smells really nice, like the rest of their products. It's a faint vanilla and citrus type scent. Sadly, the beautiful smell doesn't linger. I would definitely repurchase this product.
I purchased this for $7.99 CAN but think it's usually around $11 or $12 CAN. Check out Sukin Organics for more info.

what sort of hair type do you have? :)
ReplyDeleteI have weird hair lol. My roots get oily quick but my hair is damaged. I had it highlighted, coloured and stripped multiple times in less than a month at the beginning of the year. Haven't coloured it since then. So fine, fairly straight and damaged is a good way of describing it? Hope that helped!
DeleteThank you for all the Sukin reviews. I'm looking into buying some of their products soon, particularly the face mask, the sensitive face moisturiser (except that it doesn't have any SPF!) and I might try the hair treatment as well. Reading reviews about their products help me make up my mind, haha.
ReplyDeleteI think I might start looking into organic skincare products as well, I didn't realise how good some of they are because of what they do and do not contain!
No problem at all! I was looking at their mask, you'll have to tell me what you think of it. Their hair treatment is fantastic for dry hair and even as a deep once a week conditioner! Let me know what you end up getting:)
DeleteOh great! My hair has definitely become more dry these past few months and at the moment, I'm using the L'Oreal hair mask for dyed hair (back when my hair was coloured more than 2 years ago) and I'm just using it up now so it won't be a waste if I simply throw it out. It makes my hair very soft after the initial use but it only lasts for a day and the following day, my hair's back to normal again.
